Everyone couldn't get enough of Martin Nievera as they settled in at the Smart Araneta Coliseum for the continuation of Martin's Tatlong Dekada concert celebration. Many celebrities were present as they showed support for the concert king. This 2nd night of his 30 years of celebration was definitely bittersweet as he dedicated the show to the victims of the vicious typhoon that had cost thousands of lives in the Central Visayas.

The Concert King had started the show with a minute of silence for the fallen victims and a very moving performance of The Prayer. With the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra accompanying him the whole night and with Louie Ocampo as musical director, the crowd was definitely in for another great show.

Some guests who were present at the first Tatlong Dekada concert were also back the second time around plus a few more surprise artists which gave the crowd a good shock. Bamboo's performance of "214" with Martin was electrifying. Martin also performed with The Voice of the Philippines' first ever winner, Mitoy. And he also let everyone know that earlier in Martin's career, Mitoy was one of his backup singers. Next up onstage was Vicky Nievera, Martin's twin sister with the performance of "After All." More special performances by KZ Tandingan, Pops Fernandez, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Arnel Pineda, and Regine Velazquez which garnered a standing ovation from the crowd.

Despite having his own guests, Martin couldn't help but reach out to his celebrity friends in the crowd to join him numerous times for spontaneous duets during the show. Crowd favorites were Jed Madela and Eric Santos, Charice, Yeng Constantino, Angeline Quinto. Juris, and Princess Velasco.

Another favorite was Ogie Alcasid, who we believe was on his way backstage to go to his wife, Regine Velazquez, but then was caught to attention of Martin to go join him onstage. They performed "Be My Lady" which Martin shared the story that he used to listen to the song on a cassette in Ogie's car. The performance was amazing. We actually had to remind ourselves that it was a spur-of-the-moment thing.

The Concert King went on to perform his timeless love songs to a very endearing crowd. Araneta, that night, sang along to his hit songs with full hearts. This just goes to show that even with 3 decades in the business already, Martin Nievera shows no so signs of slowing down just like his fans who will still be there for him til the end.

Martin profusely thanked the fans, friends, and sponsors throughout the show. We're sure that we are not the only ones in thinking that we cannot wait for the next show of the Concert King.
