In celebration of Club Republiq's anniversary, the nightlife institution together with Driven and Worldwide Womb recently held UNITED REPUBLIQ: An Electronic Music Assembly For A Cause. The massive open air dance party brought together hordes of EDM aficionados and party lovers alike at the MOA concert grounds.
Putting together a robust congregation composed of the best in the club scene, United Republiq featured former Swedish House Mafia man, Axwell, Dutch Duo No_ID and dance music maestro, Nicky Romero. Alongside the headliners were Republiq resident DJs Martin Pulgar, Martin Naval, Mars Miranda, and Ace Ramos. All in all, United Republiq proved to be one intoxicating evening of dance.
But the event also had a bigger purpose beyond uniting such big names in the dance music category. As the night was also an avenue to raise funds to help those affected by typhoon Yolanda. “The Filipino spirit is strongest when we are one; as a united country”, as stated by the organizers and they hope that through this event, fans of the artists and followers of Republiq may be able to contribute to the country’s rebuilding process. And if the crowd of thousands was an indication, we were sure that donations collected that evening was very much significant.
So kudos to all. Kudos!
