Get ready for another music for advocacy event from the country’s leading environmental pop production group Earthday Jam Foundation, Inc. After the highly successful 14th year presentation of EARTHDAY JAM comes another unique musical campaign project dubbed “CC TUNES (In Tune with Climate Change)”.

CC TUNES will be held at the Market Market Activity Center in Bonifacio Global City,Taguig on June17. Film watching of interesting documentaries begins at 5 pm and leads to the Climate Change Concert thereafter that will feature eco-artist-producer Lou Bonnevie, pop-rock icon Kitchie Nadal with the young hot OPM bands Moonstar 88 , Silent Sanctuary , GraceNote and Mayonnaise. Special guest speakers from PAGASA, DOST, DENR, various universities and NGOs are invited to speak on climate change. The activity will be hosted by actor-model Lorenzo Mara, Phoebe Walker  and Pam Nieva of Eurasia and resident host Midi G. with guest celebrity Bb. Tourism Angeli Dionne Gomez and other surprise personalities.

CC TUNES is presented by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR)  in partnership with Ayala Malls’ Market Market and will be FREE TO THE PUBLIC .

“Everyone is invited to participate in this activity. This event  will not only  empower the youth ,foster OPM music but most of all bridge the private sector ,the NGOs and the government for a concerted effort in tackling perhaps the most important , most demanding and most alarming issue of our times.” Says Lou Bonnevie, producer-artist of CC TUNES. This is one occasion where we can talk openly about the “rise of the sea level” and the “rapid changes in temperature “ in  a very casual setting so people can really understand. Of course, it would still have all the elements of “fun” because of the music “jam”.

Special thanks to the City of Taguig, Racks, David’s Salon, Manila Concert Scene  and Philippine Concerts. For more info, pls log on to EarthdayJam Foundation Facebook ; email or call 8976991.
