#HulingSayaw: Kamikazee's Final Show at the Big Dome this December

- Fifteen Year Career To End In Spectacular Style on December 10 -
Manila (Philippines): Filipino rock legends Kamikazee will bring down the curtain on their colourful 15-year career with an all-star celebratory concert at the SMART Araneta Coliseum in Manila on December 10, 2015

The five-piece band, who earlier this year announced they would be taking an indefinite break from
the music industry, will play one last time at arguably the most iconic concert venue in the Philippines before spending more time with their families and pursuing other interests.

“A few months ago, we said we would take a long break at the end of the year and nothing has changed,” said the band’s manager Kerwin Rosete.

“The band are all still incredibly close to each other but after years of recording and playing live, the time is now right for them to step away from the stage and enjoy other aspects of their lives. And there’s no better way to finish than with a concert alongside many of their best friends, in one of Manila’s greatest arenas and in front of thousands of the best fans in the world.”

Produced and promoted by Spicy Lemon, the show will be a fitting end to a career that has seen Kamikazee - comprising Jay Contreras, Jomal Linao, Led Tuyay, Jason Astete and Allan Burdeos - become one of the most popular live OPM acts in the country.

Although details of the show have yet to be finalised, the band is planning a celebration of their music with collaborations, a hand-picked bill of star support acts and plenty of surprises.

“The band will work closely with the producers at Spicy Lemon to stage a show that will be a fitting farewell to the fans and to thank them for the many years of support they've given the band since Kamikazee started out some fifteen years ago, added Rosete.

“After thousands of gigs around the world the time is right for Jay, Jomal, Led, Puto (Jason) and Bordes (Allan) to step away from the business and spend time with their families, who have been amazingly supportive of Kamikazee.

“As the guys have no plans to play again in the future, the concert on December 10 will be the perfect send-off and a fitting final show for both the band and all their fans.”

Tickets for Kamikazee Live at the SMART Araneta Coliseum on December 10, 2015 will go on sale from the SMART Araneta Coliseum, all Ticketnet outlets and online at
