[Concert Round-Up] Kyla Flying High

15 years ago, a girl from Tondo started her journey to reach her ordinary dream. 15 years after, she is not just living her ordinary dream, but it became her extraordinary reality.

Last November 20, 2015, Kyla dubbed as the country's "Queen of RNB" celebrated a milestone in her music career. Kyla Flying High was held at the KIA theatre in celebration of Kyla's 15th anniversary in the music industry.

"Welcome to a milestone year in my life." The Queen of RNB said at the start of her show. Even you're not on stage with her and you're just a part of the audience, you could still see how happy she is. Everytime she smiles sweetly and her eyes lit up whenever she looks at the audience.

Later on, Kyla couldn't hold back her tears when she sang the song that she says "changed her life" which is Hanggang Ngayon. The audience used their cellular phones to lit up KIA theatre while holding a paper with "Kyla Mula Noon #HanggangNgayon" written on it. She kept on saying "Thank you" and "It means so much to me" during her speech.

One of the highlights of the show is when she thanked her parents who she said supported her dreams and the reason why she didn't give up. She said her mom is her first teacher and she wouldn't be the singer she is today, if not because of her mother. She dedicated a song for them which is a Kundiman song her parent's are always requesting for her to sing. She even joked that it's her Christmas gift to them already.

Fans started to shriek when the King of Teleserye Theme songs, Erik Santos asked the audience who are the fans of the high rating teleserye "On the Wings of Love." Erik sang one of the teleserye's theme song which is Never Let Me Go. After Erik's performance, Kyla went back on stage to sing On The Wings of Love which she ended up saying "Si James Reid and Nadine Lustre na lang ang kulang."

The other guests who came to perform with Kyla that night are X Factor's Grand winner KZ Tandingan, The Voice Kid's season 1 first placer Darren Espanto and of course, The King of RNB Jay-R.

Family and Friends also came to support Kyla on a special event in her life. Her husband baskteball player Rich Alvarez, comedian Vice Ganda, The Queen of Teleserye theme songs Angeline Quinto, singer Mark Bautista, singer and composer Thyro and Yumi, actors Inigo Pascual and Alex Medina and more.

15 years has passed, but for sure Kyla will continue to live her extraordinary reality.
