This November, the Philippines welcomes a triple header festivities  with the National Clean Air Month, National Environmental Awareness Month and National Climate Change Consciousness celebration . In line with this, Earthday Jam Foundation Inc., producers of “Earthday Jam”( the longest running and biggest environmental music event in the world)  in partnership with EMB- DENR and Ayala Malls’ Market Market will stage THE 2016 CLEAN AIR CONCERT as the opening salvo of these years’ celebration . This will be held at the activity center of Market Market in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig on Nov.8 (Tuesday) and will be FREE TO THE PUBLIC.

There will be a whole day exhibit from various participating supporters : Environmental Management  Bureau of DENR’s ; Honda Cars Philippines ; 888 St. Electric Vehicles, International Academy Medical Specialists(IAMS)  and Unilab, Foundation For Sustainable Society,Inc (FSSI)  and Earthday Jam Foundation, Inc among others.

At 3 pm, the heartwarming environmental film “Luntiang Kawal” will be shown followed by a Student Forum . At 5pm, the 2016 Clean Air Concert takes off with opening performance of the country’s youngest rock and roll band, Square One. OPM legendary artists GLOC 9, SILENT SANCTUARY, 6CYCLEMINDS and clean air champ LOU BONNEVIE will follow suit and is expected to deliver fired up performances.

In-resident hosts Midi G and Phoebe Walker with celebrity co-hosts Danica Sotto and Lorenzo Mara wiLL take turns in interviewing resource speakers and  doing Q & A  segments highlighting the  theme “ Green School: Build Climate-Resilient and Sustainable Communities” . Lucky audiences who will participate will get various corporate freebies and seedlings.

” World Water Day Concert”, ”Climate Change In Tunes”, ”Freedom Coastal Clean Up and Jam”, among others. We have built up all these events based on the realization that music and art can be understood by all walks of life. “This is our 4th Clean Air Concert and it continues to be an exciting event that the young people would look forward to. A “first” in this event is the launching of the air quality mobile app by DENR wherein Users will see a demonstration of how to get firsthand information on the quality of air in their areas as well as the health effects of prolonged exposure to air pollution.”, creative director Toto Gentica explains.

Seats at the Market Market will be on a “first come, first serve” basis with the front stage area assigned to on-line participants and winners, various schools representatives and  student volunteer organizations.
