Now this 2017, it'll be home of Journey's Manila comeback on February and Coldplay's A Head Full of Dreams Tour on April as well as festivals like Rakrakan Festival and Fusion Music Festival this month.

Note: During the early days of the MOA complex, there are 2 concert grounds: one is the Block 2 of MOA situated at the back of SMX Convention Center which can accommodate up to 40,000 crowd and the second is the Block 12 & block 16 at the back of One & Two E-Com Centers which can hold up to 30,000 to 80,000. Today, Conrad Manila now occupies the Block 2.
The final set of the legendary Filipino rock group, The Eraserheads. Reported over a 100,000 fans flocked the grounds. They used three blocks of the Mall of Asia complex for this concert, first in history and the biggest show so far.
The global superstar, Justin Bieber made his first Manila show at the concert grounds back in 2011. Attracted over 60,000 Beliebers during his one night only show.
Katy did 2 shows at the grounds - 2009 at the block 2 with Mae, Arnel Pineda & Neal Schon of Journey and Jed Madela. Originally, the show was supposed to be held in October 2009 with Boys Like Girls but due to Typhoon Ondoy, the original plan was postponed and became a charity show in November 2009.
And 3 years later, She returned with her California Dreams Tour which was held at the block 12 & 16 concert grounds of Mall of Asia. This is her biggest Manila show so far, reported over 60,000 fans came to see her.
Award winning hiphop group, The Black Eyed Peas brought their Beginning Massive Tour (also, the only Asia show of the tour) to Mall of Asia Concert Grounds back in October 2011.
Paramore made their Manila concert debut at the block 2 concert grounds of Mall of Asia in March 2010. Over 30,000 fans came to see Hayley, Zac, Jeremy, Taylor and Justin(Josh's replacement during the tour due to his wedding preparation with then-fiancee Jenna Rice) LIVE.
Despite of heavy rains during the show, multi-award winning singer/guitarist John Mayer serenaded 25,000 concert fans during his first ever Manila show in 2010. Originally, the show was scheduled in May 2010 but got postponed and moved to October 2010.
7) Adam Lambert - Block 2 - October 2010
American Idol season 8 finalist, Adam Lambert brought his Glamnation Tour to Mall of Asia Concert Grounds in October 2010 and attracted over 20,000 fans.
8) Usher - Block 2 - July 2010
One of the greatest RnB superstars, Usher also came to Mall of Asia Concert Grounds in July 2010 for his OMG Tour.
Pop superstar Miley Cyrus came here in June 2011 for the Corazon Gitano Tour/Gypsy Heart Tour. Her MOA Grounds show was the exclusive Asia show during the tour.
A Party for a Cause. It was headlined by the Swedish House Mafia member Axwell also with Nicky Romero and No_ID. This show was the very first all-EDM festival in Mall of Asia Concert Grounds.
It's the David vs David in Manila. American Idol Season 7 graduates Cook & Archuleta made headlines as they played the concert grounds in front 50,000 fans in May of 2009.
One of the biggest dance music festival franchise in the world Ultra Worldwide made their Manila concert debut with the Road to Ultra in September 2015. Headlined by 7 international DJs: Skrillex, A-Trak, Fedde LeGrand, Mija, Vicetone, W&W and Zeds Dead.
This ground breaking concert headlined by top superstars Justin Timberlake, Timbaland and Jojo was held at the concert grounds in March 2010. Reported over 88,000 fans came to see the show.
Before we unveil the last show, here are some trivia and cancelled/planned MOA Concert Grounds shows:
-MTV Music Summit 2007: The very first ever concert held at the grounds which was held in December 2007
-MYX MO: The concert grounds hosted MYX MO festival for 5 times: 2008, 2009, 2010, 2013 and 2015
-Rain Live in Manila: Very first KPOP act to perform at the MOA Concert Grounds. His show with U-Kiss was held in September 2010
-Dream KPOP: The very first KPOP music festival in the Philippines. Headlined by 6 KPOP groups featuring Girls Generation, Tahiti, Exo K/M, U-Kiss, Tasty and Infinite. Show was held in January 2013
-Alicia Keys: Alicia Keys was scheduled to play at the Concert Grounds in August 2008 as part of her As I Am Tour. But due to inclement weather that time, her show was moved to indoors, SMX Convention Center
-Planned Mall of Asia shows but never happen are: Chris Brown in July 2010, Taylor Swift in October 2010, Aerosmith in summer 2011, Pharell around 2014/2015.
Lastly, One Directions. Today's biggest boy band. They brought their fourth headlining tour, On The Road Again Tour at the concert grounds for two nights in March 2015. Attended by 48,000 directioners during their Manila tour. Also the group's first performance without their member, Zayn Malik
