It's the Super Bowl season once again, one of the biggest sporting events in the world. It's American Football madness! This year will feature the New England Patriots vs Atlanta Falcons. Also, the Super Bowl Halftime Show (one of my favorites during the 'Bowl) will be headlined by multi-award winning superstar, Lady Gaga. The festivity will be held in Houston's NRG Stadium, Texas on February 5th.

So here in #MCSList, in tribute to Super Bowl Halftime Show, this is Kevin Pableo of Manila Concert Scene and I’ll be listing 27 Manila concert acts who played(plus, Lady Gaga) the Super Bowl's Halftime Show.

The King of Pop’s performance during the halftime was one of the greatest halftime shows of all time. He played 5 of his songs and there are no special guests in the entire 13 minutes performance. Everybody knows Michael Jackson loves the Philippines, he came here with his brothers in 1966 for a TV appearance, returned in 1976 for The Jackson’s residency shows in Araneta Coliseum and Folk Arts Theatre, and his final Philippine show was a two-night HIStory World Tour held December 1996.

5) Tony Bennett & 6) Miami Sound Machine

The worldwide viewers saw an Indiana Jones themed half time show in Miami at Super Bowl XXIX (1995). Jazz superstar, Tony Bennett is one of its headliners as well as Miami Sound Machine also performed at the said half time show.
